Esmoriz fixa o maior núcleo da arte da tanoaria no seu território. Preservar esta arte ancestral é poder dar-lhe continuidade. Para reavivar o passado é necessário expandir no futuro. O festival interdisciplinar de artes performativas contemporâneas TAN TAN TANN perspetiva o interesse desta Comunidade em ativar o Núcleo Museológico de TANoaria de Esmoriz.

O projeto TAN TAN TANN une públicos a um evento transdisciplinar onde a arte ancestral da Tanoaria se funde com a arte contemporânea. É devolver um lugar ancestral da comunidade a partir das práticas artísticas. Um potencial catalisador de novos meios de turismo e fixação das populações.

The municipality of Esmoriz is home to the biggest hub of cooperage art in the Portuguese territory. Preserving this ancient art does enable its continuity. In order to revive the past it is necessary to expand in the future. The TAN TAN TANN interdisciplinary festival of contemporary performative arts embodies the effort of this community in activating Esmoriz Cooperage Museological Nucleus.

TAN TANN project unites audiences to a transdisciplinary event where the ancient art of cooperage merges with contemporary art. This is about reviving the community’s ancestral place from the artistic practices and it is a potential catalyst for new means of tourism and fixation of populations.
