A partir do mundo gigante dos livros, este festival interage com vários formatos da literatura contemporânea para crianças. A partir de um espetáculo de teatro, música, dança, imagem ou uma performance, descobrimos um livro.

Um encontro para o impulso linguístico interdisciplinar, que vai dos livros às oficinas, às conversas, às artes plásticas e às artes performativas contemporâneas para crianças. É nas diversas etapas desse mágico e misterioso encontro entre a crianças e os Gigantes Invisíveis, que encontramos novas linguagens interativas, sempre a partir do livro.

O encontro literário Gigantes Invisíveis é já uma referência na literatura e nas artes contemporâneas para crianças em Portugal, estando destacado como um dos eventos mais originais do panorama literário português para a infância. Realizadas já seis edições no concelho de Ovar, com uma primeira edição realizada em Timor-Leste em 2016, uma edição na Guiné-Bissau em 2017.

Books on the stage, a book in dancing. A book in music, a book in the circus, or even a book that is a performance. 

Hailing from the giant world of books, this festival interacts with different formats of contemporary literature for children. From music, dance, a theatre show, an image or a performance, we proceed to discover a book.

A meeting meant to celebrate the interdisciplinary linguistic impulse, from books to workshops, conversations, plastic arts and contemporary performative arts designed for children. In the various stages of this magical and mysterious meeting between children and the Invisible Giants we find new interactive languages, always having a book as a starting point.

INVISIBLE GIANTS literary meeting is already a reference in contemporary literature and arts for children in Portugal, standing out as one of the most original events of Portuguese juvenile literature. Six editions have already been held in the municipality of Ovar, including a first edition held in East Timor in 2016, and another in Guinea-Bissau in 2017
